How applications are assessed
Applications filed via the Investor Facilitation Portal (IFP) go through a review and verification stage. A committee set up for this purpose assesses each application against the eligibility conditions laid down for the scheme, which cover the enterprise's MSME status, the nature of the ICT expenditure, and whether the application falls within the scheme's operational period. Papers supporting capital expenditure on ICT facilities are examined in detail before any reimbursement is allowed.
Once verification is complete and approval granted, the reimbursement payable to the applicant enterprise is worked out, subject to a ceiling of ₹5 lakh and a maximum of 65% of the capital expenditure, and is then processed for disbursal.
