How applications are assessed

Applications submitted online for the Aatmanirbhar Gujarat Interest Subsidy scheme are first screened to confirm that eligibility conditions are satisfied — enterprise type, service sector focus, and registration status (MSME/DPIIT). The term loan particulars, investment in new assets such as machinery, equipment and furniture or fixtures, and conformity with the scheme's guidelines are then examined in detail, along with the enterprise's record of paying loan instalments and interest to the bank or financial institution.

Approval and release of the subsidy rest on the outcome of these checks and on the applicant meeting the scheme's terms and conditions. The designated committee or authority within the Industries and Mines Department takes this final decision.
