About this scheme
The Industries and Mines Department, Gujarat, runs the Aatmanirbhar Gujarat Scheme for MSMEs, an umbrella initiative in force from 5 October 2022 to 4 October 2027. It is intended to strengthen the state's MSME sector, which contributes significantly to employment, GDP and exports, in line with the aims of Aatmanirbhar Gujarat and Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
Within this umbrella, the Assistance for Quality Certification component is directed at manufacturing MSMEs. It helps such enterprises obtain the quality certifications they need and raise product standards so they can compete in domestic and international markets.
The component meets the costs of putting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems in place and of obtaining national and international quality certifications. Through this support, MSMEs can improve both operational efficiency and product quality.
