About this scheme
Clause 14.6 of the Industrial and Investment Policy of Assam, 2019 provides a subsidy covering **30% of the cost of public issue expenses**, capped at **Rs 5 lakh**, for MSMEs that choose to list on the BSE or NSE.
Public issue costs, which include merchant banker, registrar, legal, listing and marketing fees, often deter small companies from approaching the SME board. For an Assam MSME that completes the listing process, this clause offsets approximately one-third of that expenditure.
