These include official patent filing receipts from the relevant patent offices, itemised invoices from patent attorneys detailing their services and charges, and accurate bank account information for the direct credit of the reimbursement. Where a patent has already been granted, a copy of the grant certificate may also be submitted as additional evidence.

The reimbursement procedure begins and concludes only after the patent application has been formally filed or the patent has been granted, as applicable under the policy provisions. The Department of Industries verifies all submitted documents to confirm adherence to the Bihar Startup Policy 2022 conditions before releasing funds.
