Under incentive 5 of the Bihar Textile & Leather Policy, 2022, textile and leather units falling in Category A and B are eligible to recover 50% of their patent registration expenditure. A ceiling of ₹10 lakh applies per patent. Of this amount, costs relating to patent filing, attorney fees and patent tracking cannot exceed ₹4 lakh. A unit's overall patent subsidy is limited to ₹10 lakh.
