Chhattisgarh Export Certification Subsidy (IT Products)

The Export Certification Subsidy is an incentive available under the Chhattisgarh Industrial Development Policy 2024-30. It is intended to strengthen the state's position in the international IT products market by assisting established IT units with the cost of obtaining international certifications and approvals. These certifications help confirm product quality, meet global standards and secure access to competitive overseas markets.

Through a reimbursement, the Government of Chhattisgarh encourages local IT product manufacturers and exporters to invest in quality assurance processes. This is expected to improve the credibility and competitiveness of 'Made in Chhattisgarh' IT products internationally.

The support is directed at export growth, employment generation and the development of a technology and innovation ecosystem within the state.

1. Go through the Chhattisgarh Industrial Development Policy 2024-30 guidelines in detail to familiarise yourself with the application framework. 2. Pay the fees required for securing international certifications or approvals for your IT product(s). 3. Gather the complete set of documents — evidence of the fees paid, the international certification or approval secured, and a valid commercial export certificate. 4. Fill in the application form prescribed under the policy and submit it, along with all supporting documents, to the designated authority of the Government of Chhattisgarh. 5. The relevant department will carry out verification of the application to determine eligibility and confirm the claims made. 6. Once verification and approval are complete, the reimbursement amount due to the applicant unit will be disbursed.
