Chhattisgarh Quality Certification Subsidy for Pharma Industries

Under the Chhattisgarh Industrial Development Policy 2024-30, the Quality Certification Subsidy supports pharmaceutical companies in the state that seek national and international quality certifications. The scheme provides financial assistance to help these firms meet certification costs.

By covering a substantial share of certification expenses, the subsidy lowers the financial burden on businesses and encourages compliance and innovation. The objective is to ensure that pharmaceutical products made in Chhattisgarh satisfy global standards for safety, efficacy and quality.

Under the Chhattisgarh Industrial Development Policy 2024-30, eligible industries may claim the reimbursement by following the application process set out in that policy. In the usual course, an applicant must first record its intention formally, or apply, through the portal or department designated for the purpose, and must file a complete application form. The documents generally required are:

- detailed evidence of the expenditure incurred in obtaining the specified quality certifications; - copies of the certifications obtained; - the company's official incorporation documents; - GST registration; - MSME Udyam registration, where applicable; - any further supporting financial statements or project reports called for under the policy guidelines.

Thereafter, the state authorities concerned may verify the claims and documents submitted, and the reimbursement is released only after that verification.
