Chhattisgarh Quality Certification Subsidy for Services Sector MSMEs

This subsidy is available only to MSMEs working in the services sector.

The Government of Chhattisgarh runs the Quality Certification Subsidy under its Industrial Development Policy 2024-30. Through this programme, MSMEs in the services sector within the state receive support.

The subsidy encourages these enterprises to adopt national and international quality certifications, which help raise quality, efficiency and competitiveness. Such certifications improve access to markets, strengthen customer confidence and streamline operational processes, supporting business growth and long-term viability.

By reimbursing a substantial share of the cost of obtaining certifications, the government aims to build a culture of quality assurance and continuous improvement among service sector MSMEs, making them more resilient and competitive globally. Certifications covered include ISO standards, BIS, ZED, BEE, AGMARK and Euro Standard, among others, giving the scheme wide relevance across service industries.

- **Submit Application**: Applications are to be filed via the designated online portal or the relevant department, in accordance with the Chhattisgarh Industrial Development Policy 2024-30. - **Prepare Documents**: Assemble the complete set of required paperwork — proof of MSME registration, invoices covering certification expenses, copies of the quality certifications obtained, and bank details for reimbursement. - **Verification**: The concerned authorities will carry out verification of the application and the documents submitted. - **Approval**: Once verification and review are completed successfully, the competent committee will grant approval. - **Disbursement**: The reimbursement amount for which the applicant is eligible will be credited to the registered bank account.

Applications are first checked for eligibility and for whether all required documents have been submitted. Under the Chhattisgarh Industrial Development Policy 2024-30, the scrutiny is carried out by the concerned department or a nominated committee, which verifies the applicant's MSME status, the nature of the service rendered, whether the quality certifications held are valid, and whether the expenses claimed are genuine.

Approval rests on conformity with the policy guidelines and on the funds available, so that reimbursements are granted in a transparent and fair manner.
