Chhattisgarh Refrigerated Vehicle Subsidy

The Government of Chhattisgarh operates the Transportation Vehicle Subsidy for Refrigerated Vehicles under its Logistics Package policy. Through this programme, logistics companies and logistics hubs in the state are encouraged to invest in temperature-controlled transport, with the aim of strengthening Chhattisgarh's cold chain infrastructure.

Financial assistance is offered towards the purchase of refrigerated vehicles, which lowers the capital expenditure that businesses would otherwise bear. This is intended to support the growth of cold storage and transportation networks across the state.

- Filing a completed application form together with documents supporting the business and the vehicle purchase. - Furnishing evidence of the vehicle purchase and its specifications, which must include a capacity of at least 9 metric tons. - Complying with every guideline and procedure laid down in the policy document and in any notifications issued afterwards.

Applications are assessed against the eligibility conditions set out in the Logistics Package policy. This covers the category of applicant — whether a logistics company or a logistics hub — as well as the specifications of the refrigerated vehicle proposed for purchase.

The selection process also requires verification of the documents submitted and confirmation that the terms and conditions of the policy are fully met. The competent government authority in Chhattisgarh reviews each application for completeness and eligibility before sanctioning disbursement of the subsidy.
