The Investment Promotion Scheme (IPS) for the MSME Sector operates a sub-scheme titled "Assistance For Entrepreneurship Under Skill Development." Applications for the Assistance For Entrepreneurship Under Skill Development scheme are submitted wholly online, so eligible entrepreneurs and MSMEs can access the process without difficulty.

1. **Register on the Single Window Portal:** Start at the official registration page of the Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu Single Window Portal (swp.dddgov.in/registration).

2. **Create your account:** Complete the registration form with the required details and press "Register" to set up your account.

3. **Verify email and mobile:** Open the link sent to your registered email address to confirm it (look in spam if it is not in your inbox). Then confirm your mobile number by entering the OTP "111111" when asked. Once verification succeeds, your login credentials (Mobile Number and PIN) are emailed to your registered address.

4. **Log in to the portal:** Go to the user login page (swp.dddgov.in/login) and sign in with your registered mobile number and the PIN sent by email.

5. **Locate the scheme:** After logging in, select the "Departments & Services" tab in the left-side menu. Scroll to "District Industries Centre DD & DNH" and click "Click Here" for the "Investment Promotion Scheme: 2022 to 2027".

6. **Complete and submit the application:** The "Common Application Form" opens. Enter every required detail, upload all mandatory documents listed in the guidelines, and review what you have submitted. Once all information is verified, click "Submit" to finish your application.

Once an application under the 'Assistance For Entrepreneurship Under Skill Development' scheme is received, it is examined by the Department of Industries, U.T. Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu. The assessment checks that the applicant MSME unit satisfies every stated eligibility condition — commercial production having begun within the prescribed period, the unit's geographical location, and the type of training imparted. The accreditation of the training institutions with the National Skill Development Corporation or the State Skill Councils is verified as well.

Processing of the application also covers confirmation of the course fee, the count of persons trained, and compliance with the 75% reimbursement ceiling of up to ₹1,50,000 per course. Reimbursement is finally approved only where all required documents have been furnished completely and accurately and the scheme's guidelines have been followed.
