It provides a 7% annual interest subsidy on bank loans for up to 5 years, aimed at individuals seeking to start new self-employment ventures in manufacturing (industry), services, or general business. Project costs between ₹10,000 and ₹1 lakh are covered, reducing the interest burden to make entrepreneurship more accessible.

The programme also includes a 12-day online entrepreneurship development training to build management skills alongside financial support. Loans are disbursed through Public Sector, Private Sector, and Regional Rural Banks registered as Member Lending Institutions (MLIs) with CGTMSE, making them eligible for bank guarantees and easing credit access.
