How to apply
- Obtain the prescribed application proforma from the Economic Development Corporation, Panaji. - Fill out the application form completely and pay ₹25/- towards the form cost, along with a non-refundable processing fee of ₹200/-. Attach the processing fee receipt to your submission. - Submit the duly completed application, addressed to the Managing Director, Economic Development Corporation, in person at EDC House, Panaji-Goa. - Beneficiaries currently receiving support under the Chief Minister’s Rozgar Yojana or Dr. Verghese Kurien Rojgar Yojana Scheme are not required to file a separate application, as they are automatically included under this scheme.
How applications are assessed
The Task Force Committee (TFC), constituted under the Chief Minister’s Rozgar Yojana/Dr. Verghese Kurien Rojgar Yojana Scheme, examines every application received. Following this scrutiny, the TFC forwards suitable applications for subsidy approval. For proposals already evaluated under the same scheme, the TFC acts as the sanctioning authority.
The Directorate of Industries, Trade & Commerce allocates the required budget for the scheme. Once subsidy claims are submitted, the Directorate places these funds with the Economic Development Corporation.
