About this scheme
The Industries and Mines Department, Gujarat, operates the scheme "Assistance to MSME Manufacturing Sector Participation in the Exhibition (National and International)" under "Market Development Assistance to MSMEs". Under this scheme, MSMEs that take part in exhibitions at state, national, and international levels can claim reimbursement for stall rent, product literature, and display materials.
For Gujarat's manufacturing MSMEs, the scheme matters because it widens their market reach, gives them a platform to display products, and opens up business opportunities within the country and abroad.
By absorbing part of the cost of exhibiting, the scheme makes it easier for MSMEs to spend on growth and competitiveness, which in turn supports the state's industrial development and export promotion.
