About this scheme
The Government of Haryana operates the Safety Audit Scheme, which assists Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in carrying out safety audits and putting safety equipment in place. Through this support, the scheme works to lower workplace hazards and raise industrial safety standards.

- Applicant must be a Micro, Small or Medium Enterprise (MSME), whether new or already operating. - The enterprise must hold registration (for instance, Udyog Aadhaar / EM Part-II). - A safety audit has to be carried out by auditors belonging to an agency recognised as ISO-certified. - Industrial units must not be engaged in manufacturing any item appearing on the restrictive list. - Investments should be directed towards upgrading safety equipment. - Where applicable, units must have secured NOC/CLU. - At the time of disbursement, units must be in commercial production as well as regular production.
