How to apply
1. **Step 1: Draft and lodge a training proposal with the Skill Training Provider (STP).** The employer is required to prepare a comprehensive proposal covering the training content, its duration, the number of trainees, particulars of on-site training, and the infrastructure needed. The STP thereafter fixes the course fees, which the employer is liable to pay.
2. **Step 2: Procure and fill in the application form.** The applicant has to download the prescribed application format for the scheme and complete it. The form calls for particulars including the unit's registration number under the umbrella scheme, STP details, the course name, the count of eligible Goan trainees (between 18 and 42 years of age), the fees remitted, and the reimbursement amount being claimed.
3. **Step 3: File the claim application together with supporting documents.** The duly filled application form, accompanied by all supporting documents listed in the scheme's checklist, has to be submitted offline to the Directorate of Industries, Trade & Commerce (DITC), Udyog Bhavan, Panaji.
How applications are assessed
The Task Force Committee (TFC) reviews each application and, on that basis, puts forward the units it finds eligible for reimbursement. Disbursement follows only after such a recommendation has been made and is further contingent on the budget available.
