Investment Promotion Scheme (IPS) for MSME Sector: Incentives For Doubling Of Export Values

The Investment Promotion Scheme (IPS) for the MSME Sector, effective from 3rd July 2015 and operational until 19th May 2027, supports the development of the MSME ecosystem in Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu. The scheme addresses market volatility, encourages greater participation of women in enterprise, and works to lower local unemployment by offering incentives for the employment of resident labour.

Within this framework, the sub-scheme titled "Incentives For Doubling Of Export Values" offers reimbursement-based financial assistance to qualifying MSMEs. Its purpose is to raise export performance by rewarding units that achieve a doubling of their export value relative to the preceding financial year. This direct fiscal support is intended to strengthen competitiveness and promote growth across the region's manufacturing and service industries.

1. Go to the registration page of the Single Window Portal at https://swp.dddgov.in/registration. 2. Create your account by filling in the required fields and selecting "Register." Confirm that every detail entered is correct. 3. Verify your email address by opening the verification link sent to your registered inbox (also check the spam folder). 4. Verify your mobile number by entering the OTP "111111". Your mobile number and PIN will be emailed to you. 5. Access the login page at https://swp.dddgov.in/login. Use your registered mobile number and the PIN from the email to log in. 6. From the menu on the left, choose the "Departments & Services" option. 7. Scroll to "District Industries Centre DD & DNH" and press the "Click Here" button beside "Investment Promotion Scheme : 2022 to 2027 (20 May 2022 to 19 May 2027)". 8. Fill out the "Common Application Form" with all requested information and attach the necessary supporting documents. 9. Check the completed form for accuracy and completeness, then press "Submit" to finish.

Applications undergo an initial eligibility check covering the unit’s location, the date commercial production began, and its MSME registration status. The main factor considered for granting the incentive is whether the applicant has doubled export value relative to the prior financial year.

Once an application passes this screening, it moves to the reimbursement stage. The amount payable is calculated using the prescribed percentage of export value, with the rate differing according to whether the applicant is a woman entrepreneur or another category of entrepreneur.
