About this scheme
The Investment Promotion Scheme (IPS) for the MSME Sector, introduced in July 2015 and valid until May 2027, is designed to build a robust MSME ecosystem in the Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu. The scheme incentivises industrial activity, encourages greater participation by women, and works to lower unemployment among local residents.
A dedicated component of IPS is the "Assistance To Small And Medium Enterprises (SME) For Raising Of Capital Through SME Exchange." This sub-scheme helps MSMEs gain access to public markets by covering a portion of the expenses incurred during listing on an SME Exchange. By reducing the financial burden of equity fundraising, it enables smaller enterprises to secure larger capital pools for expansion, diversification, and long-term growth, while also supporting regional economic development and helping MSMEs navigate market challenges.
