J&K Handicraft Managerial Subsidy

The Managerial Subsidy, part of the J&K Wool Processing, Handloom & Handicraft Policy 2020, is intended to cover the supervisory and administrative expenses of handicraft enterprises that have expanded beyond a family-run workshop.

The Government of J&K has committed to increasing this assistance from the current Rs 19,104 to Rs 1.00 lakh over three years, distributed in a 50:25:25 ratio. This phased enhancement means the full amount is not released immediately but is staggered annually.

For a handicraft unit, this subsidy addresses operational costs, distinguishing it from the capital or marketing incentives offered elsewhere in the policy.
