About this scheme

The Jammu & Kashmir Film Policy 2021 sets its highest slab of support at the **third film** produced in the Union Territory:

- **At least 50% of total shooting days in J&K** — up to ₹1.5 crore, or 25% of the total Cost of Production (COP), whichever is lower - **At least 75% of total shooting days in J&K** — up to ₹2 crore, or 25% of COP, whichever is lower

Just as with the first and second film slabs, the 25%-of-COP condition places a ceiling on what can be claimed, meaning the rupee amount matters only where budgets are larger. For the higher slab, three-quarters of all shooting days must be completed within the UT.
