About this scheme

Under the Jammu & Kashmir Tourism Policy – 2020, the ICT (Information & Communication Technology) incentive allows the tourism sector to claim up to Rs 5 lac per event, capped at 5 events annually.

Rather than being paid as a single yearly amount, the benefit is calculated event by event. A business holding multiple qualifying events during the year may therefore claim separately for each, subject to the limit of five events per year, with no more than Rs 5 lac claimable against any one event.

This provision appears in the same policy clause as the related ICT benefit for equipment procurement and content creation, and claims are routed through the state's single window process.
