About this scheme
Under the Jammu and Kashmir Industrial Policy 2021-30, an industrial unit can claim an incentive computed on its **turnover**, for a period of up to 5 years:
- **Micro enterprises — 3% of turnover**, capped at ₹10 lakh - **Small enterprises — 2% of turnover**, capped at ₹50 lakh - **Medium enterprises — 2% of turnover**, capped at ₹50 lakh - **Large enterprises — 2% of turnover**, capped at ₹50 lakh
This benefit differs from the capex-linked incentives available under the same policy. It is tied to trading activity instead of investment, and continues to be paid while the unit is operational. The micro category attracts the higher rate of 3%, though its ceiling is the lowest.
