About this scheme

The Jammu & Kashmir Film Policy 2021 provides a subsidy for **television serials and shows**, calculated according to the number of shooting days completed in the UT:

- **At least 90 days of shooting in J&K** — up to ₹50 lakh, or 25% of the total Cost of Production (COP), whichever is lower - **At least 180 days of shooting in J&K** — up to ₹1 crore, or 25% of COP, whichever is lower

For television serials, eligibility rests on an absolute number of shooting days, not on a percentage of the production schedule as is the case with feature films. This makes the provision workable for long-running serials that shoot an entire season at a single location.

The 25%-of-COP limit continues to apply as the upper bound on any claim.
