About this scheme

The Government of Kerala's 'One Family One Enterprise' scheme is designed to encourage entrepreneurial activity and support women by ensuring that every family establishes at least one MSME unit, including those in trade. Given that MSMEs depend heavily on bank financing, the scheme offers early-stage support to improve their competitive position.

Interest subvention is provided on Term Loans and/or Working Capital Loans obtained by MSME units from financial institutions, including Nationalized Banks, Scheduled Banks, KSIDC, KFC, KSFE, and Kerala Bank. The scheme covers units involved in manufacturing, service, and trading activities. A stated goal is that 50% of beneficiaries will be women entrepreneurs, which supports inclusive economic development in the state.

Assistance applies to loan amounts up to ₹10 lakh for fixed capital and/or working capital, over a five-year period, which eases the financial load on new enterprises.
