Maharashtra Event Participation Reimbursement

Under Clause 4.1.3 (C) (iii) of the Maharashtra Industries, Investment and Services Policy 2025, the State bears part of the cost of attending industry summits, workshops, exhibitions and networking events.

Eligible expenses — participation fees, registration charges and promotional materials — are reimbursed at **up to 30%**, subject to a **ceiling of ₹5 lakh for domestic events and ₹10 lakh for international events, per unit**. For national and international industry summits, workshops, exhibitions and networking events, participation is routed through recognised industry associations.

The definition of an eligible expense is deliberately narrow: the participation fee, the registration charge, and promotional material spend. Claims should therefore be built around these heads, not around travel or hospitality.

1. Take part in an eligible industry summit, workshop, exhibition or networking event organised through a recognised industry association. 2. File the application on the MAITRI portal under the MIISP 2025 incentives. 3. Provide invoices for the participation fee and registration charge, along with proof of payment. 4. Provide invoices for promotional materials produced for the event. 5. Provide proof of the event's domestic or international status, so that the applicable cap can be determined.

The department does not run a competitive selection process. It checks the event, the expense heads claimed as eligible, and the invoices submitted in support, after which it reimburses up to 30%, subject to the applicable domestic or international ceiling.
