About this scheme

The Capital Investment Subsidy Scheme, introduced by the Tourism Department of the Government of Madhya Pradesh, offers financial incentives to private investors for infrastructure development within the state’s tourism sector. Its objective is to strengthen Madhya Pradesh’s position as a varied travel destination by supporting ventures such as adventure tourism, water sports, amusement parks, and distinctive lodging options including cruise/houseboats and camping sites.

Through a substantial capital subsidy, the scheme reduces the upfront financial load on investors, with the aim of generating employment, supporting local economies, and drawing visitors from both domestic and international markets. The initiative focuses on projects that establish permanent facilities and procure necessary equipment, aligning with the framework of the Tourism Policy 2025 to ensure steady and sustainable expansion of the state’s tourism industry.
