About this scheme

The Tourism Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh, runs the Capital Investment Subsidy Scheme. Its purpose is to draw private money into tourism infrastructure within the state by way of financial incentives. The scheme supports the setting up of adventure tourism, water sports, amusement parks, and accommodation formats such as cruise/houseboats and camping sites, so that Madhya Pradesh can present itself as a varied tourism destination.

Under the scheme, a capital subsidy is extended to reduce the upfront financial load on investors. The expected outcomes are job creation, stronger local economies, and a larger inflow of domestic and international tourists.

Projects that build permanent facilities and purchase necessary equipment are the ones the initiative is meant for. It operates within the framework of the Tourism Policy 2025 and is intended to place the state's tourism industry on a durable growth path.
