**Registration**

1. Register on the Invest Portal in the "Vendor / Investor" category. 2. Supply basic details about the organisation, including the type of entity (Public Limited Company, Private Limited Company, LLP, Proprietorship Firm, Partnership Firm, Cooperative, Trust, FPO, or Individual), the company name, and the name of the authorised person. 3. Provide a valid email ID and mobile number. All subsequent correspondence, including user credentials, is sent to these contacts. 4. Once the basic registration is complete, a User ID and password are issued. Use these to log in and finish the full profile update, which must be done before any scheme application can be filed.

**Main application**

1. Obtain every mandatory permission through the online single-window system. 2. In parallel, carry out construction of the wayside amenity unit, ensuring that capital expenditure of at least ₹25,00,000/- is incurred and documented. 3. Once commercial operations begin, collect proof of that operational status. 4. Submit the capital subsidy application online with all supporting documents within one year of the date on which commercial operations commenced.

The Tourism Department/Board verifies the application and documents as submitted, after which the eligible subsidy claim is processed and disbursed.

Applications for the Capital Investment Subsidy are assessed through an administrative verification route rather than any competitive selection. Once an application reaches the Tourism Department/Board via the online portal, the department checks the documents submitted against the scheme's eligibility criteria and the "Way Side Amenities Policy 2016" guidelines. This review confirms that the minimum capital expenditure has been met, that the unit follows the approved model (Green Field or Franchise), and that it stands on a site identified or approved by the department.
