About this scheme

Under Clause 6.14 of NTIIP 2025, assistance is extended to newly established enterprises that aim to establish a distinct brand identity instead of operating as unbranded suppliers. A one-time reimbursement covering 50% of brand-building expenditure is offered by the State, capped at Rs 5.00 lakhs per unit. All new enterprises established within the State are eligible for this support.

Since the benefit is one-time and back-ended in nature, it is advisable to claim it after incurring a substantial brand-related spend — such as packaging, identity development, or launch campaigns — rather than seeking it in smaller instalments.

How applications are assessed

Before any money is released, the Department checks two things: whether the unit genuinely qualifies as a new enterprise, and whether the brand-building expenditure claimed stands up to scrutiny. Only once these are confirmed does it disburse 50% of the amount, subject to the Rs 5 lakh ceiling.
