About this scheme
Under clause 6.5 of NTIIP 2025, the Market Development Assistance scheme is intended to help units in Nagaland connect with buyers outside the State. A unit that qualifies can claim reimbursement of half the rent or participation fee paid for a stall at a domestic trade fair or exhibition held outside Nagaland. The ceiling on this reimbursement is Rs 50,000 for each event, per unit.
The assistance operates on a back-ended basis: the unit pays the organiser upfront and lodges its claim afterwards. Support is capped at two participations in a year, which means a unit may use this clause for a maximum of two out-of-State exhibitions annually.
