About this scheme
Under clause 6.15 of NTIIP 2025, the Transport Incentive addresses the challenge posed by Nagaland's remoteness from major markets. Units that are set up and situated within the State receive reimbursement of 50% of the expenditure incurred on moving goods beyond the State borders, whether by road, rail or air, capped at Rs 50.00 lakhs per annum. The incentive remains available for five years.
Given the Rs 50 lakh annual ceiling, this stands as the largest recurring incentive under NTIIP for any unit dispatching goods in volume from Nagaland.
