About this scheme
Under Clause 10.4 of the Odisha Food Processing Policy 2022, part of the preparatory cost incurred before a food processing investment is reimbursed. A business that commissions studies, surveys or feasibility reports may receive up to 50% of the cost, capped at ₹4 lakh, provided the MSME Department has given prior approval. Where the Government or a government organisation commissions the study or survey, no maximum applies.
Prior approval is a condition of eligibility, so the department must be approached before the work is commissioned rather than after the invoice is raised. Claims are submitted through the state's investment single window.
