Under Clause 7.2 of the Odisha Food Processing Policy 2022, an enterprise can obtain support for putting together its own cold-chain transport fleet. A credit-linked, back-ended subsidy covering 35% of the cost is extended to businesses that carry and transport horticultural and non-horticultural produce, where the purchase concerns standalone new reefer vehicles or mobile pre-cooling vans. The ceiling on this assistance is ₹25 lakh.
Being credit-linked and back-ended, the arrangement works through a bank or financial institution that finances the vehicle, with the subsidy adjusted against the loan after the asset has been put in place.

How to apply
