Piggery Farming Scheme (HSFDC)

The Piggery Farming Scheme, run by the Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (HSFDC), supports self-employment for Scheduled Caste families living below the poverty line (BPL) in Haryana. HSFDC, a wholly Government-owned Corporation, provides financial assistance for income-generating activities, including piggery farming. Through tie-up arrangements with banks, the Corporation offers both direct subsidies and bank loans, giving beneficiaries the financial backing needed to start and expand their micro-enterprises.

This programme helps Scheduled Caste communities in rural and urban areas of the state achieve greater economic independence. It contributes to improving livelihoods and supports broader socio-economic development across Haryana.

1. **Register on the HSFDC Portal:** Go to the official HSFDC website (https://hscfdc.org.in/appreg). Open the 'Bank Tie-up Scheme' section and select 'Apply for Loan' to begin registration for the Piggery Farming Scheme. 2. **Provide Initial Details and Verify OTP:** Enter your full name, Aadhaar number, email address, and mobile number. Complete the captcha and click 'Register'. An OTP will be sent to your mobile number; enter it to verify and complete registration. 3. **Fill the Detailed Application Form:** Once registration and OTP verification are done, the full application form appears. Enter all required information accurately, including personal background, family details, financial status, and particulars of the proposed piggery farming project. Complete every field. 4. **Upload Required Documents:** Upload scanned copies of all supporting documents, typically including proof of identity (Aadhaar card), proof of residence, Scheduled Caste certificate, BPL card or BPL survey list extract, and annual family income certificate. Ensure the documents are legible. 5. **Submit Initial Application and Receive Credentials:** Review all entered information and uploaded documents for correctness. Click 'Submit' to finish the initial application. You will then receive a unique user ID and password for future logins. 6. **Log In and Edit Profile:** Return to the HSFDC portal using the user ID and password. On your dashboard, click 'Edit Profile'. Fill in details for any sureties, upload additional documents if requested, and update any other pending information. 7. **Final Review and Submission:** After updating all details and uploading remaining documents, do a final check. Click 'Final Submit' to send the complete application for processing. It is recommended to print a copy of the submitted application for your records. 8. **Offline Application Option:** If you cannot apply online, HSFDC organises credit camps, Open Darbars, and other events overseen by Deputy Commissioners/Additional Deputy Commissioners where applications can be completed and submitted offline.

After applications are submitted, the selection process for the Piggery Farming Scheme begins. Field staff from the Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (HSFDC) verify each applicant's eligibility, checking residence in Haryana, Scheduled Caste status, membership in a Below Poverty Line (BPL) family, and that annual family income stays within the prescribed ceiling. Only those who pass this field-level check have their applications forwarded to partner banks for final approval of the composite loan and subsidy.
