About this scheme
Under Clause 12.8 A(6) of the Industrial and Business Development Policy 2022, Punjab offers MSMEs a reimbursement of 25% of the expenses incurred in a public issue, subject to a ceiling of INR 10 lakh. The support is tied to listing on the Emerge SME platform of the National Stock Exchange.
A single claim may be made under this provision while the policy remains in force. Costs covered by the reimbursement include those paid to merchant bankers, legal advisers and registrars, along with printing charges and exchange fees.
Such expenses weigh heavily on SME initial public offerings, since they tend to be large in relation to the capital actually raised.
