About this scheme

Under Clause 12.8 C(9) of the Industrial and Business Development Policy 2022 of Punjab, half the cost of acquiring technology from a recognised National Institute is covered, capped at INR 25 lakh. A claim may be made once while the policy remains in force.

The provision is intended for units that license a proven process or product design from a national research institution instead of developing it in house. Reimbursement is measured against the technology transfer fee, the associated know-how and the cost of adopting it.
