About this scheme
Under Clause 12.8 C(9) of the Industrial and Business Development Policy 2022 of Punjab, half the cost of acquiring technology from a recognised National Institute is covered, capped at INR 25 lakh. A claim may be made once while the policy remains in force.
The provision is intended for units that license a proven process or product design from a national research institution instead of developing it in house. Reimbursement is measured against the technology transfer fee, the associated know-how and the cost of adopting it.

How to apply
1. Sign the technology transfer or licensing agreement with the recognised National Institute. 2. File an application under the Industrial and Business Development Policy 2022 through the Invest Punjab Business First portal. 3. Provide the agreement, invoices and payment proof for the technology obtained.
