About this scheme
Under Clause 12.8 C(10) of the Industrial and Business Development Policy 2022, Punjab adds a top-up to the Government of India's Zero Defect Zero Effect (ZED) certification scheme. An MSME reaching gold category status or above under ZED becomes eligible to recover half of its expenditure on plant and machinery or testing equipment incurred for the certification, capped at INR 5 lakh.
The benefit is restricted to the first 100 units within the policy's validity period. Early applicants stand to gain; those who delay may find the window closed.
