About this scheme

Under Clause 12.7.2 B(2) of the Industrial and Business Development Policy 2022, Punjab offers a lease rental reimbursement to eligible startup units set up in the state. To qualify, the unit must operate from an incubator, IT park, industrial cluster or another notified industrial park.

The reimbursement covers 25% of the lease rental actually paid. Support is available for a period of one year, subject to a ceiling of INR 3 lakh per annum.

Startups functioning from their own premises, or from space located outside these notified locations, fall outside the scope of this provision.
