About this scheme

Under the Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme (RIPS) 2024, an industrial unit holding a rating under the Rajasthan Green Rating System pays only half the consent fee it would otherwise owe. This covers both Consent to Establish and Consent to Operate.

The concession takes the form of a fee waiver rather than a cash payout. Once the unit's green rating is in place, the applicable consent fee is halved at the point of payment.

Because consent fees are fixed according to capital investment slab and pollution category, the rupee value of the waiver varies with the size and category of the unit.

This incentive forms part of the green incentive block of RIPS 2024, and is applied for through the same scheme application route as the other green benefits.
