About this scheme
Under the Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme 2024, the green incentives block covers half the amount an eligible enterprise lays out on environmental projects. These include effluent treatment, emission control, waste handling and comparable capital work taken up to bring down the plant's environmental load.
Reimbursement stands at 50% of project cost, capped at INR 12.5 crore. That ceiling takes in the other benefits falling under the green incentives category, and disbursement of green incentive benefits happens over ten years. The limit therefore applies to the category as a whole and is not renewed for each individual line item.
Eligible enterprises in manufacturing, services and the scheme's sunrise focus categories may apply. Claims are routed through Rajasthan's single-window investment portal.
