About this scheme
Warehousing, cold chain and logistics parks generate environmental burdens of their own — effluent, emissions, waste and refrigerant handling among them. Under the Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme 2024, enterprises engaged in logistics infrastructure that meet the eligibility criteria can obtain reimbursement of 50% of what they spend on environmental projects, subject to a ceiling of INR 12.5 crore.
The claim rests with the enterprise that owns and operates the facility and bears the cost of the work. Where benefits fall under the green incentives category, disbursement is spread across ten years, meaning the entitlement is released in instalments rather than as a lump sum.
Applications are submitted via Rajasthan's single-window investment portal, following the RIPS 2024 process.
