About this scheme

Under the Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme 2024, MSMEs can claim a subsidy covering 10% of the cost of machinery and equipment built on clean production technology, as part of the scheme's green incentives track.

Equipment that produces less pollution typically costs more than standard plant, and that price gap is what keeps smaller manufacturers from choosing it. Returning a tenth of the capital outlay reduces the difference at the point of purchase.

Benefits under the green incentives category are capped at INR 1 crore for an MSME, taking into account the other benefits claimed within that category, and are paid out across ten years. Applications are filed through Rajasthan's single-window investment portal as part of the RIPS 2024 process.
