About this scheme

Under the Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme 2024, a renewable energy plant supplying power to a green hydrogen plant within Rajasthan is charged only 50 per cent of the standard transmission and wheeling charges on the energy so supplied.

This concession is limited to the quantum of energy delivered to the green hydrogen plant and remains available for seven years. For a developer putting up RE capacity dedicated to electrolyser offtake, it reduces a recurring cost component in delivered green power throughout the initial operating period.

The benefit is claimed through the Rajasthan single-window investment portal under the RIPS 2024 process.
