# Sikkim Industrial and Investment Policy 2024: Lease Rental Waiver

Under the Sikkim Industrial and Investment Policy 2024, industries that establish plants or units within the Frontier Economic Zones are exempted from paying lease rental on government land. The zones in question cover the districts of Mangan, Soreng, Gyalshing and Namchi.

For the first five years, no rental charges apply. This five-year period is reckoned from the date on which production commences.

How to apply
