For claims up to ₹1,00,000, the reimbursement process does not require additional documents, simplifying access for beneficiaries. The support extends beyond application fees to include first-time maintenance charges, offering assistance during the early stages of IP protection. The initiative aims to build a stronger innovation ecosystem, enabling MSMEs to create, safeguard, and utilise their intellectual assets for long-term growth and economic benefit within the state.

1. Begin by visiting the [Official Website/Portal](https://www.msmeonline.tn.gov.in) of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Department, Government of Tamil Nadu. This portal serves as the sole gateway for submitting applications. 2. Create an account by selecting 'Login / Registration' from the top ribbon. Provide the required personal details accurately, including Name, Date of Birth, Aadhaar Number, Email ID, and Mobile Number. During this step, set a new password that adheres to the following rules: at least 8 characters long, containing a minimum of one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one digit. Enter the captcha code and click 'Register' to finish. 3. After registration, go to the [Login Page](https://www.msmeonline.tn.gov.in/registration.php), click 'Login', and use the credentials dispatched to your registered Email ID and Mobile Number. 4. Upon successful login, access the 'Schemes' section from the top ribbon. Choose the specific scheme for IP subsidy from the dropdown list. Then, click 'Apply Online' followed by 'New Application'. 5. Complete all mandatory fields in the [Application Form](https://www.msmeonline.tn.gov.in/incentives/patent_trade.php) with exact details about your enterprise and the IP registration for which you request the subsidy. Review the information thoroughly, accept the terms and conditions, declaration, and privacy policy, and then click 'Proceed'. Record the unique reference number shown on the screen, as it will be needed for future tracking. 6. To attach documents, hover over 'Schemes' once more in the top ribbon and select 'Upload Documents'. On the next page, enter the Application ID you noted earlier and click 'Submit'. You will then be asked to upload all required documents in the prescribed format and size. After uploading, use the 'View' option to confirm that each document is correct before final submission. 7. Lastly, tick all the checkboxes at the bottom of the screen to confirm your acknowledgement, then click 'Submit Application'. A confirmation notice about the successful submission of your online application to the General Manager / District Industries Centre (DIC) / Regional Joint Director (RJD) will be sent to your registered mobile number. 8.
