About this scheme

The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department of the Government of Tamil Nadu operates the "Grant of Quality Certification Reimbursement of Charges" scheme. It supports MSMEs in obtaining quality standards or certifications for their processes and products, including international quality certifications recognised in India by a competent authority. The objective is to strengthen the competitiveness and product quality of MSMEs in the state, enabling them to align with global benchmarks and expand market access.

Under this scheme, the government directly reimburses payments made to consultancy and certification agencies for acquiring both national and international level quality certifications. This reduces the financial burden on small and medium enterprises associated with quality assurance. By facilitating the achievement of these standards, the scheme supports industrial growth and quality enhancement across Tamil Nadu.
