Incentive Scheme for MSMEs in Powerloom Sector: Subsidy for Energy Efficiency (West Bengal)

The Department of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises and Textiles, Government of West Bengal, introduced the Incentive Scheme for MSMEs in Powerloom Sector on 1 January 2022. - **Obtain the application form:** Secure the prescribed format, Form-A2, either from the official website or through the link supplied. - **Assemble documentation:** Collect every supporting document required under the scheme guidelines. The Directorate of Textiles vets each application under the Subsidy for Energy Efficiency against the eligibility conditions, checking the date of commercial production, whether the Four-party agreement has been executed, and whether the project secured prior approval from a recognised financial institution. The feasibility report in full and the energy audit recommendations are examined to confirm the energy conservation measures put forward.
