About this scheme
Under Clause 7.9 of the Arunachal Pradesh Industrial Development and Investment Policy, 2025, an enterprise that uses a recognised Common Facility Centre — such as research centres, R&D testing laboratories or packaging facilities — is reimbursed half of its expenditure. The ceiling is Rs 1 lakh per unit per year, and the benefit can be claimed for a maximum of three years.
Eligibility extends to new industrial units as well as all existing ones, whether or not they have undertaken substantial expansion. Registered cooperatives and FPOs operating in the handicraft, handloom, agro and food processing, and aromatic/medicinal plant sectors may also apply.
The clause is intended to enable a small unit to access shared testing and processing infrastructure that it would otherwise be unable to own.
