About this scheme
Under Clause 7.5.4 of the Arunachal Pradesh Industrial Development and Investment Policy, 2025, a new unit can receive financial assistance of up to 10% of an electric load carrier's ex-showroom price. The support is capped at Rs 50,000 per vehicle.
To qualify, the vehicle must carry a minimum load of 785 kg. E-rickshaws do not qualify.
Each unit may claim support for one e-load carrier only. Across the policy period, the scheme covers a maximum of 100 units, allotted on a first-come-first-served basis. Early claims therefore matter.
