About this scheme
Under Clause 7.5.1 of the Arunachal Pradesh Industrial Development and Investment Policy, 2025, an industrial unit can recover half of its expenditure on installing green technology that runs on renewable energy. Eligible sources include solar, wind, water, biomass, hybrid solar-wind and other green sources, with system capacity required to fall between 10KW and 2000KW. The reimbursement is capped at Rs 25 lakh.
New units and existing units are both eligible, whether or not they have undertaken substantial expansion. For existing units, eligibility is limited to the replacement of DG sets.
The claim takes into account the cost of purchase and installation together. Disbursal happens as a reimbursement once the system has been commissioned.

- Procure and set up a renewable energy system that meets eligibility, with a capacity between 10KW and 2000KW - Keep the equipment and installation invoices, along with the commissioning certificate, on file - File an application with the Department of Industries via the single window clearance portal of Arunachal Pradesh - Lodge the claim together with the invoices, evidence of payment and the registration papers of the unit
