How to apply
Applicants are required to submit their application through the specified URL. The following documents must be provided: a copy of the Aadhaar card of the Director or CEO; documentation for salaried employees holding a PhD; an HR letter confirming the employment contract and work profile; an employment contract of at least 12 months; salary slips; a bank certificate or statement reflecting salary debits; a detailed research proposal; a copy of the research work; and original proof of R&D expenditure as per Cost and Accounting Standard 18. Only expenditure incurred after the notification of the Goa Start-up Policy 2021, within its validity period, and made through digital payment will be taken into account.
How applications are assessed
The Startup IT Promotion Cell (SITPC) holds the exclusive authority to approve or decline applications, and receipt of the benefits is not guaranteed as a matter of right. For claims related to research and development spending, compliance with Accounting Standard 18 is mandatory. Where digital payment methods are unavailable, the SITPC will determine the outcome after conducting its own due diligence.
